Introducing the Nagomi Customer API: Turning Exposure Context Into Infrastructure

Modern security environments rarely operate from a single system. Data moves between security platforms, internal applications, automation workflows, reporting tools, and data warehouses. The challenge is getting the right context from one system into another without a manual export and/or normalization process.
Exposure data is a good example of this issue: asset relationships, control coverage, and verified findings may exist in one platform, while the system that needs that context sits somewhere else. APIs directly connect systems and keep that context intact.
The Nagomi platform already supports hundreds of integrations with the tools our customers have deployed across their environments, bringing asset, vulnerability, identity, control, and exposure data into one unified console.
Our new Customer API adds the other side of that equation: a way for customers to take the context Nagomi has aggregated and make it available to their own systems.
Benefits of the Customer API
Skip the manual export. Point a script, a Power BI connection, or a scheduled job at an API key instead of requesting an ad hoc data pull. What used to take a support ticket and a wait now requires only a request.
Speed up incident analysis. When an alert fires in your SIEM or SOAR, an analyst can query Nagomi for full context on the asset in question, identity, tool coverage, vulnerabilities, exposure findings, and control status, without leaving their workflow. That context arrives live, reflecting the same state the user would see in Nagomi at that exact moment.
Fold Nagomi into security orchestration. Every response is standards-based (JSON:API, OpenAPI reference), so it plugs into the automation a team has already built rather than demanding new tooling around it.
Consolidate data on your own terms. Feed exposure context into whatever internal dashboard, data warehouse, or reporting layer your organization already trusts, on your schedule, in your format.
Build exposure context into your own tools. Because the API is a straightforward, authenticated query interface, teams can call it from places Nagomi was never designed to live: an internal developer portal that shows live risk status next to a service, or a deployment pipeline that checks an asset's exposure posture before it ships. This is where "programmable infrastructure" stops being a slogan. Exposure data becomes a query away from anywhere your engineering organization already works.
Exposure Context, Wherever the Work Happens
Your security infrastructure doesn't stay static. You’ll add tools, replace platforms, build internal applications, and automate workflows around the systems you already have. An exposure ops platform must accommodate that reality.
The Customer API gives customers greater control over how Nagomi fits into that dynamic environment. Our integrations bring data into Nagomi; the Customer API makes the resulting context available beyond it.
That's the balance Nagomi provides: a platform that can connect to the systems around it, contribute context back to those systems, and adapt as your security environment changes.
