Not in theory. Against real assets, real vulnerabilities, real threats. The tools existed. The data existed. What didn’t exist was anything that connected them.

That became Nagomi. What started as automated security controls assessment grew into a full operating model for how security teams detect, investigate, remediate, and verify exposure. We called it Exposure Ops.

When we went looking for a name, we wanted one that captured what the work demands. Balance amid chaos. The discipline to close what you open. That’s Nagomi.
